San - Democracy

 Cities:
Sentia - Port city, very diverse racially, containing 5 taverns, 2 brothels, a jail, the sherriff's station/home, and a general market place, plus the local fishermen's homes and work shanties. It has a fairly good reputation, as far as port cities go, but is still permiated by the same foul smell. It contains a temple to both Sentia and, of course, Lin, like all port cities.
Lyrann - Capital city of San, very diverse racially. It houses the palace, where the monarchs lived until 300 years ago when they were over thrown and replaced by a democracy which now holds councle in the palace and is allowed to stay there for the duration of their tenure. Everything radiates out from the palace. First there are the noble's houses, along with an elaborate park that use to be the palace gardens. After that comes the merchant's houses, then the general public and working class houses, plus a jail, the sherriff's station/home. After that is the market place, just before the city walls. Right next to the palace on the east is a beautiful temple, where all the lower gods and goddesses are represented, and a special temple on the west of the palace is erected to honor the 4 main god/desses.
Risha - Port city, very diverse racially, containing 8 taverns, 5 brothels, a jail, the sherriff's station/home, and a tiny general market place, plus the local fishermen's homes and work shanties. It has the most horrid reputation of all the port cities. It is no accident that the taverns and brothels are more in abundance, yet it is the same size as it's sister city, Sentia. It contains a temple to Risha and a shrine to Lin.
Thi - A farmer's city, very diverse racially, it consists mostly of a giant market place, a jail, the sherriff's station/home, and the houses where the delegates from the counsel stay when they are home. It contains a small shrine to Senal.
Eml - Sister city to Thi, it is geared more towards all the things that Thi is missing. It is also dominantly human. It is full of aristrocrasy and nobility with beautiful parks and lawns. A temple to Tryla is erected in the center of the city. It also has a jail, and the sherriff's station/home.
Iml - Iml hosts the only college on the continent. That is the whole city, including the dormitories and the shrine to Carry. It is a scholar's city, with a very diverse population, racially.
Kemlo - Secluded from the rest of the continent by mountains, this is a very peaceful city. Their whole city revolves around the shrines to Tem and Tema. It has a very diverse population, racially, and practices the idea that love can conquer all.
Jaml - A rancher's city, very diverse racially, it consists mostly of a giant market place, a jail, the sherriff's station/home, and the pens for the animals. It hosts a the Livestock Fair every summer. It has it's own section for nobility, but they are a very small percent compared to just the cows that populate the city year round on their way to other markets and when being housed for the Fair. The temple here is dedicated to Tyran.
Tyll - Here is housed San's army. The population is only human and elven. Housed here is only the barracks, stables, kitchens, store houses, healer's rooms, training yards, and elaborate temples to Klyn and Kalya.
Lea - Housing a very diverse population, racially, and also the 'vacation spot' on San, Lea is the spot of the 'summer homes' of the former kings. Every new monarch had to have his own home, and they were all 10 bedrooms atleast, so they made the perfect inns. The grounds are kept cultivated and well manicured, and the inns are always well painted. The streets are cobbled, and kept clean. There is a stable for horses at every inn, a jail, the sherriff's station/home, and a small market.
Pla - Pla contains a very diverse population, racially, including a higher population of dwarves than any other city in San. There is a renowned blacksmith there, a tannyard, a potter's shop, a jail, the sherriff's station/home, a horse breeding farm, and even a dragon roost. It is a workers town, and so, obviously, has a shrine to Jenst.
